Cox & Company has a Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR).

New York, N.Y. May 19, 2008 - FAA ANE - MIDO 46 Aviation Safety Inspectors, Mr. Gregg Behonick and Ms. Elizabeth Campbell presented Mr. Hal Shichtman with his Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) designation. According to Mr. Behonick, an individual appointed as a Designated Airworthiness Representative is someone who has exemplified the highest level of integrity, knowledge and experience in aeronautics.

Mr. Shichtman’s experience of thirty-four (34) years in the Quality Assurance field (including the past 15 years as a DMIR) has well prepared him for his added responsibilities of a DAR.

With the acquisition of Mr. Shichtman’s DAR designation, Cox & Company can now offer our aeronautical customers a more economical and expeditious approach in acquiring FAA Certification.
